As a handful of Floridians are about to begin service inside The West Wing for the incoming Trump administration, a familiar last name is heading back to Washington. Caroline Wiles, daughter of President-elect Donald Trump's (R) campaign manager and current White House Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles, has accepted a position with the prominent lobbying firm Rubin Turnbull & Associates.
The firm recently announced its establishment of a Washington, D.C. office, and Wiles will serve as the Vice President of Foreign Affairs. Wiles is a veteran Republican consultant, also worked in the first Trump administration, and has worked on a slew of local, state, and federal political campaigns.
In speaking to The Floridian Publisher Javier Manjarres about her new job, Wiles reiterated that she was “excited to bring our clients the highest level of expertise and insight" and said it was “a privilege” to work alongside the company's founder, Bill Rubin.
“I’ve known Bill for over 15 years, ever since we first crossed paths during U.S. Sen. Rick Scott’s initial run for Governor of Florida. He is an incredibly hard worker. It’s a privilege to collaborate with him and Heather Turnbull — an exceptional leader — as we establish our new office in Washington, D.C.,” said Caroline Wiles.
President-elect Trump’s Senior Advisor and co-campaign manager Chris LaCivita, also praised the hiring of Wiles, acknowledging her “work ethic and commitment,” adding she was a great fit for the firm.
